1Physical EducationText lesson
Physical activity in Botswana began in everyday life and indigenous games (e.g., diketo, mhele/morabaraba, setapa). Over time, schools formalised movement into Physical Education (PE) a curriculum subject with outcomes, assessment, inclusion, and wellness goals. In this lesson, you trace the key milestones and explain why indigenous games still matter in PE today.
